VENUE :  Underground 
ENTRANCE FEE :  $10 FOR ALL DRIFTERS AND ADDITIONAL $5 FOR THE DRIVERS WHO ADVANCE TO EACH LEVEL e.g. ADVANCE TOP 32, 16 AND TOP 8. OPEN FOR 4WD AND COUNTER STEER DRIFT.
MOTOR :  Open for 8.5t and above
BATTERY :  OPEN FOR 2 CELL LI-PO 7.4 VOLTS OR SUB-C 6 CELL BATTERIES.

TIRE :  Autodrift Tyre new or used.
BODYSHELLS - DRIFT / REALISTIC 1:10 BODYSHELLS, TC BODYSHELLS ARE NOT ALLOWED.
RACE FORMAT :  DRIFT POINT QUALIFYING FOR THE SEARCH FOR TOP 32, TOP 16 AND TOP 8. FRO THE TOP 8 DRIVERS THE FORMAT WILL BE CHANGED TO TANDEM DRIFT BATTLE UNTIL THE FINAL.

PRIZES :  WILL BE GIVEN TO THE TOP 8 DRIVERS AND BEST BODYSHELL WINNER

Winners of the RC car drift competition

Bandar Seri Begawan - Twenty-five radio control (RC) car enthusiasts including those from Malaysia participated in the radio control car drift competition held at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas yesterday.

Two categories were competed - the 50/50 (normal) drifting and the counter steer drifting (novice). Points system was used to determine the winners of each round where the cars needed to drift to specific markers to get points.

Iswandy (Miri) was champion of the 50/50 (normal) drift, Hasree came in second place and Haddy (Miri) won third place.

Hj Birin was champion of the counter steer drift (novice) and also won a special race between champions of both categories.

Decibel Radio Control Team organised the competition.

Due to the cancellation of our pre season drift race, we are proud to announce that we will be holding:

DbRT Drift Challenge 2011 verIII
Location: SHHB underground circuit
Track surface: carpet (track layout will be shown 3 days before raceday)
Date:26/6/2011
Category: 1)CS (countersteer) 2) Normal drifting
Time:9am
Bodyshell: only drift bodyshells
Tyre: New Autodrift tyres to be purchased at KAWANRIA (receipt of tyres purchased must be shown to prove it is bought at kawanria)
R&R: Drift point system / Tandem drift for finals
A special challenge will be held once winners of both categories are confirmed.
Registration: $10 Top16 add $2 Top8 add $2
Prizes: Top 3 of both categories and the best creative bodyshell
